- Last week in total was a good week for me, the high point being Thursday when I managed to get 287 pips out of the moves that day. The worst day was Friday, where I tried a short play, missing out from start and decided not to go in later on; hence I did nothing.
- While the S&P downgrading of the US debt triggered some sharp falls for stock markets, market outlooks softened with flights into safety areas like gold and CHF, the underlying problem and the loss of confidence is more explained from the global economic slowdown. It has been visible from US macro figures for more than 6 weeks now and it starts to creep into European data as well. The contrarily economy is still the Chinese, which showed some impressive figures at the start of the week. The question is more whether they are reliable or not. READ MORE »
